The Miracle of the Camera

In the refugee camps there are thousands of children who are living under difficult circumstances. They have been uprooted from their homes and have come many miles, through war-torn territory to get where they are. The stress, fatigue and confusion shows on their faces./>

With all our bountiful blessings here in the USA, we feel so sad for their plight. Good luck. You are in our prayers. Debbie and Tee

Thanks for sharing your mission on the blog. It helps your ward family and friends appreciate all the eternally unimportant things that we strive to acquire. You must feel blessed to see the fruits of your labors every day. Whether it is the smile or laughter of a child or someone who slept well with the comfort of a new blanket it must be rewarding to know that everything you do has a direct and personal impact on those you serve. Hope you have a great Christmastime while you serve the Reason for the Season with all your hearts, might, mind and strength. It couldn't happen to a better couple. Love, Doug and Julee Stewart

Isn't it amazing what small things can make someone happy? Each blessed American should take a lesson from these beautiful children. Thank you for all the good work you do

"Everything must have a beginning"

"Everything must have a beginning"
Children at an orphanage in Entebbe, Uganda. There are so many children here it is incredible; there are orphans everywhere. The people take them in and it is not unusual to see families struggling with 8-10 children. We talked to a woman yesterday who has taken in twelve children. She said, "sometimes I feel sad that I cannot do more, but everything must have a beginning". We have decided to use that as our personal reminder to guide our actions here as we try to help.
